Ocean Safaris Kayak Adventures has been operating kayak tours since 1994 in Kona. We have taken almost 100,000 visitors and Kama‘aina (island locals) on exclusive ocean kayaking adventures and are looking forward to the next 100,000! We are a family-owned and operated business.

Our Staff

All guided adventures are led by experienced watermen/women who are Hawaii Lifeguard Certified and the company is fully insured. Ocean Safari’s Kayak Adventures assist with water safety at Kona’s annual Ironman Triathlon as well as other water events.

	Micah and Lindsay Dennis Micah was born at the beach and started swimming when he was one year old. He started surfing at six years. He began kayaking at 13. At the young age of 14 he was out helping dad on professionally guided kayak trips on the beautiful central coast of California. For many years now, Micah has been leading his own groups on the pristine Kona coast. Micah is athletic, outgoing and a likeable sort who will go out of his way to help people have a good time. Micah’s wife Lindsay (originally from Idaho) has always loved sports including surfing, horseback riding, hiking and paddling. She is a seasoned kayaker, and they make an unbeatable team out on the water.
	Mike Dennis Mike started paddling on the central coast of California. Since he was a boy he has been a sailor, surfer, swimmer, and paddler. He loves all water sports. Mike is community minded and is protective of our precious coastline. Mike has served on Hawaii State task forces as well as on local ones. He feels strongly that a novice paddler deserves to be educated and informed by someone experienced.
	Debbie Rice Our representative Debbie realized a longtime dream when she moved to the Big Island in 2006 from Oregon. She loves helping give our guests the best possible vacation experience by booking them on one of our exciting tours. She enjoys gardening, working with stained glass and spending time with her friends and family. She is pictured here with her husband Larry and daughter Amanda.
